This session shows how System i developers can easily create professional business web applications that feature a great looking web interface. In this session, learn about EGL and its capabilities to create web applications that use business data on i5/OS. We will show how EGL allows working with existing System i DB2 data definitions so they can be re-used when creating web applications. We will also show how to access the data on System i when running these web applications. As part of a demo, we will also explore the rich EGL tooling available in IBM products to create web interfaces quickly. For System i developers, EGL is an easy to learn language that provides optimal integration with existing System i applications.
