Processing IFS files with RPG IV

RPG IV’s ability to prototype C APIs opens the door to processing IFS files directly in your RPG programs.  From preparing XML files, to Excel spreadsheets, this ability allows you to go far beyond the capabilities of CPYxxxIMPF and CPYxxxSTMF.

In this session we will introduce you to the basics of opening, reading, and writing IFS files.  We will also show you how to process directories, check for file accessibility and more.
