ILE RPG Date, Time, and Timestamp Data Types and Arithmetic

Would you like to replace those tired old date calculation routines with a single line of code?  How about performing date arithmetic on your numeric date fields?  Would you like to avoid going through another Y2K conversion in the year 2039?  This session will show you how to use date, time, and timestamp fields natively in your ILE RPG programs and how to easily perform date arithmetic and date validation.  In addition, learn which date data types you should NEVER use if you want to avoid another Y2K conversion.  A basic knowledge of ILE RPG is assumed.
