Getting Started with System APIs for RPG

Are you intimidated by System APIs?  We’ll take a look at the often confusing API documentation and learn how to translate the parameters and data types into RPG-ese. Then we’ll take a look at the techniques needed to process List type APIs. And we’ll take a look at error handling for APIs.  During this session, you’ll see how to create and use User Spaces and how to use pointers to process list API data from a User Space.  Level: Intermediate Skills
