Jeff was,until recently, the development team leader for the IBM Toolbox for Java (a.k.a. "JTOpen"). The Toolbox provides access to the data and resources on the IBM i, from any platform that supports Java. Jeff joined the Toolbox team in 1997. Prior to that, Jeff did Java and C++ development on the predecessor of WebSphere. Before that he developed IOP microcode for the AS/400. Jeff joined IBM Rochester as a software engineer in 1984. He graduated from the University of Minnesota's Institute of Technology with an MS in Computer Science.
