Blair
Wyman started with IBM in 1988, working in the Systems Evaluation area testing V1R2. Blair then moved into the System Licensed Internal Code (SLIC) where he worked on the Optimizing Translator compenent and MI Transformer compenents and MI Transformer compenents as part of the effort to introduce the Integrated Languages Environment (ILE). Later, when Java was first introduced to the AS/400, Blair designed and implemented the Java Native Interface (JNI) on AS/400, and then helped develop the Remote AWT. Since V5R2, Blair has been on a variety of projects, while remaining involved with Java. He is currently involved in rolling out information about the new IBM Technology for Java VM, being introduced to System System i in V5R4. Blair has a BS in Mathematics and a MS in Computer Science.
